Allow Me To Introduce Myself:My name is Larry Welch and I live in Paola, Kansas. I am a retired Postal Worker. Like many people my age I regularly attended the Saturday afternoon matinees as a boy in the late 40s and early 50s. I then went to high school and discovered girls, cars and Saturday night drive-in movies and the thoughts of Hoppy, Roy, Gene, Captain Marvel and Spy Smasher disappeared. Then, about fifteen years ago, I happened to see a movie serial in a video store and thoughts of the afternoon matinees returned. In the past fifteen years I have collected over 200 serials, 1200 B westerns, cartoons, trailers, etc. I recently have started collecting 50s sci-fi/horror. I also, have over 500 lobby cards and 100 movie books. I decided to design and publish these lobby card calendars for my friends who also enjoy serials, westerns and sci-fi/horror.
