When the marshal dies, Baker takes his identity and soon finds himself in all sorts of predicaments, from trying to stop cattle rustlers and romancing a rancher's daughter. Singing and six-shooting are the names of the game in this tumbleweed rouser starring Bob Baker as an innocent accused of leading an attack on a covered wagon, then trying to clear his name by finding the real culprits. The musical numbers feature the bad guys crooning, too, in this oater co-starring Constance Moore, Fuzzy Knight and Glenn Strange; directed by Joseph H. Lewis ("Gun Crazy"). 58 min.

The goodfolk of a one-horse town have been bullied about by bare-faced bad guy Carlyle Moore; but Bob Baker, plumb tuckered of this shoddy treatment, slaps on his irons and eighty-sixes that plug-ugly pronto. Co-stars Marjorie Reynolds and Smoky the dog as Wimpy the dog. 58 min.

In order to find out who killed his father, Bob Baker impersonates a cattle rustler and discovers who is responsible for the dastardly deed when he hangs out with the outlaw gang. Constance Moore and Fuzzy Knight also star. 57 min.

There's shootouts and expert action sequences galore in this thrilling Western adventure about a cavalry officer out to find the killer who has murdered pony express riders and finds a land-swindling conspiracy linked to the crimes. Bob Baker, Don Barclay and Leroy Mason star. 56 min. 
Honor Of The West(1939) VHS
Bob Baker is a cowpoke who tries to talk compadre Carleton Young into steering clear of a group of blackhats looking to enlist him for criminal causes. Eventually, sheriff Glenn Strange, the outlaws and the united Baker and Young (no, they're not a comedy team) find themselves in a three-way battle for survival. Songs include "The Old Chuck Wagon" and "Pride of the Prairie." 59 min.
