are menacing Texas. Only singing cowboy Roy Rogers and his wonder horse
Trigger can save the day! The Governor sends Roy to help bring in a gang
of saboteurs. Roy joins a traveling show and soon learns of sabeteurs plot
to blow up key installations. Sons of the Pioneers with Smiley Burnette,
Gerald Mohr, Peggy Moran(1943) and "Sunset Serenade" (1942) Roy with Gabby
Hayes and Sons of The Pioneers. Bad guys plot to trick a newly arrived
Eastern girl out of a ranch which belongs to her infant ward... both movies
have some great songs Roy and Sons of the Pioneers sing "I'm an Old Cowhand",
"Blue Prairie" "Sandman's Lullaby". "Cowboy has to Sing" and others.

"Home On The Range"
Monte Hale in Magnacolor movie. The last of the singing cowboys in
his first color feature. When two brothers settle a wilderness, one builds
the largest cattle ranch in the state while the other creates a game preserve
to protect the wild life. When Grizzly's brother dies, Bonnie takes over
and soon finds that the bears are killing her cattle. Bonnie starts hunting
bears, but she does not know that Dan is behind the attacks on her cattle
with a caged bear. Dan wants to take over Grizzly's land. Monte is working
for Grizzly to protect the wild animals until Grizzly can donate the land

Buddy. They promise to help find his father's killers , Evans goes after
Morgan. When his plan to kidnap Morgan's niece Jeanie is foiled by Cal,
he kills Morgan and frames Brent. Escaping the Sheriff, Brent joins Fuzzy
and Jeanie. But without guns they find themselves trapped by the gang.

"Breed of the Border"
with Bob Steele plays "Speed" Brent, directed by hks father R. N. Bradbury.
This tale is half western and half modern thirties with old race roadsters
and cowboys on horseback. The henchman named Joe knocks out Bob after returning
and faking a road accident. Then proceeds to rob Stafford his government
bonds and shots him in the head. Stafford survives and recovers asks Brent
to recover bonds to save his ranch. Brent gets in with the henchmen. With
the help of Staffords niece recovers the bonds.

old warhorse named Jeckyl and Sheriff Slater control the cattle market

newcomers out. Tom Hilton played by Tyler and Stub Macey played by Al St.John
are heading to the Jergenson ranch to buy his cattle. They are met
with dynamite at mountain pass but manage to avert disaster and get the
cattle safely through the pass.. Tom has a fight with the Sheriff and is

most action oriented of all Allan Lane movies (serials)
Our hero is beset
with three primary villians. WWII setting and our favorite mountie is chasing
spies. In a modified western scene in Canada. This movie was made prior
to US entering in WWII. Propganda was very pro Britian. Compound X is object
sought by saboteurs of all things its a derivative of medicine for infantile
paralysis. Once they add copper sulfate it becomes a weapon. Deploying
as magnetic mines to break the British blockade in the North Sea. It has
horse chases, boat chases, fires, canyon jumping, explosions and man traps
almost devoid of girls with the exception of Lita Conway who has very little
to do except for piloting airplane and warning Sgt. King. Yes, the mounties
always get their man.

Johnny in "Lone
Star Trail" goes to prison wrongfully convicted for a express robbery for
two years. Tex as a undercover U.S. Marshall helps Johnny clear his good
name. Back in town a so-called friend is actually a bitter enemy and ringleader
who stole the big bucks in express hold-up that sent Johnny to the slammer.
Nell O'Day is Johnny's love interest. Good action fight scenes, couple
of tunes by Jimmy Wakely.
In our second feature
"Bury Me Not on the Lone Prairie". Johnny Mack and Fuzzy Knight find greed
is good. Cause Fuzzy finds gold in them their hills and in such a rush
falls of his horse and thinks he is back as Colonel in the Confedrate army.
He even gets me to believing it. The three henchmen try to find out from
the looney Fuzzy the location of his gold claim. Nell O'Day is Fuzzy's
sister and tries to save him. Johnny comes to rescue and marries the rich
sister. Gold, Nell and Fuzzy for a brother in law.
