Marshal Cheyenne Davis (Lash La Rue), aka The Cheyenne Kid is on his way to Mesa City to help his pal Sheriff "Fuzzy" Jones (Al St. John) settle an old feud between the Harts and the Condons. Posing as an outlaw, Cheyenne is accepted by gang leader Jack Barton (Bob Duncan) and is told his job will be to continue stirring up trouble between the Harts and Condons. The plan is to make the two families kill each other off, so that a mine they own jointly, can be obtained at a price far below its value. Cheyenne's plan appears to fail when Fuzzy comes in and identifies him as a Marshal then "Law of the Lash" U.S. marshal goes undercover to clean up a town run by bandits.

DVD 1 - "Ridin' Down the Canyon" & "Sons of the Pioneers"
In "Ridin' Down the Canyon" Jim Fellows, is the head of a government experiment in wild horse reclamation for purposes other than war, and his efforts are hampered by Gus Jordan, manager of the swanky Lariat Lodge dude ranch, but actually the leader of a gang of rustlers who steal the horses as fast as the ranchers can round them up for the project. When the rustlers steal a herd from Alice Blake, her kid brother Bobbie, sets out to get help from his radio favorites, Roy Rogers, King of the Cowboys, and the Sons of the Pioneers, who are en route to Lariat Lodge to play a one-night stand. While riding down the road with Gabby Whittaker, who has given him a ride in his jalopy. Bobbie sees three men who he recognizes as the rustlers and when he tries to stop them, they begin beating him with whips. His life is saved by the timely arrival of Roy and the Sons of the Pioneers. On the way to take Bobbie back to his sister & "Sons of the Pioneers" .
In the 2nd Feature titled "Sons of the Pioneers" Night raiders are burning down the ranchers' barns and poisoning their cattle. Sheriff Gabby, unable to cope, goes east to get help from Roy, descendent of two famous sheriffs. Roy is a young entomologist who would rather study bugs than strap on guns. He finally gives in to Gabby's wishes and ends the terror. Songs include "He's Gone Up The Trail," "Come And Get It," "Things Are Never What They Seem," Trail Herdin' Cowboy," and "The West Is In My Soul." Written by Ed Stephan <stephan@cc.wwu.edu>

The henchman named Joe knocks out Bob after returning and faking a road accident. Then proceeds to rob Stafford his government bonds and shots him in the head. Stafford survives and recovers asks Brent to recover bonds to save his ranch. Brent gets in with the henchmen. With the help of Staffords niece recovers the bonds.

Perhaps one of the most action oriented of all Allan Lane movies (serials)
Our hero is beset with three primary villians. WWII setting and our favorite mountie is chasing spies. In a modified western scene in Canada. This movie was made prior to US entering in WWII. Propganda was very pro Britian. Compound X is object sought by saboteurs of all things its a derivative of medicine for infantile paralysis. Once they add copper sulfate it becomes a weapon. Deploying as magnetic mines to break the British blockade in the North Sea. It has horse chases, boat chases, fires, canyon jumping, explosions and man traps almost devoid of girls with the exception of Lita Conway who has very little to do except for piloting airplane and warning Sgt. King. Yes, the mounties always get their man.

Johnny in "Lone Star Trail" goes to prison wrongfully convicted for a express robbery for two years. Tex as a undercover U.S. Marshall helps Johnny clear his good name. Back in town a so-called friend is actually a bitter enemy and ringleader who stole the big bucks in express hold-up that sent Johnny to the slammer. Nell O'Day is Johnny's love interest. Good action fight scenes, couple of tunes by Jimmy Wakely.
In our second feature "Bury Me Not on the Lone Prairie". Johnny Mack and Fuzzy Knight find greed is good. Cause Fuzzy finds gold in them their hills and in such a rush falls of his horse and thinks he is back as Colonel in the Confedrate army. He even gets me to believing it. The three henchmen try to find out from the looney Fuzzy the location of his gold claim. Nell O'Day is Fuzzy's sister and tries to save him. Johnny comes to rescue and marries the rich sister. Gold, Nell and Fuzzy for a brother in law.
